As a Staff Software Development Engineer, you will harness the power of cutting-edge technology to create solutions for the Centralized Outsourcing Operations Hub (COOH) organization that seamlessly unites patients with vital treatments. Whether directly interacting with customers, patients, or providing pivotal internal support, your innovation serves as IQVIA’s dynamic force. Armed with 60 years of unparalleled global proficiency across 100 countries and empowered by processing over 100 billion healthcare records and 60+ petabytes of unique data annually, we are laying the foundation for a radiant evolution in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for COOH.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in C++.
  • C# experience with .NET Framework, .NET 6+, WinForms, web services, and APIs.
  • Experience with MS-SQL.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Git.
  • Experience working in a high-volume transactional processing environment is strongly preferred.
  • NCPDP D0 / pharmacy claims processing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

NCPDP D0 / pharmacy claims processing experience is strongly preferred.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $116,900.00 - $217,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
