What is the application process at IQVIA?
Once you have identified a role you are interested in, and you meet the qualifications, click “Apply Now” to start your application. You will be redirected to our candidate portal and prompted to create an online account. From there, you can complete the application.
Does IQVIA offer internships?

What happens after I apply for a position?
Our Talent Acquisition team will review your application and send you updates as they become available. Be sure to monitor the email address used when you applied and don’t forget to check spam and junk folders.
How do I check the status of my application?
After you complete an application, you will receive an email confirmation. You can monitor the status of your application by logging into our candidate portal, Workday. Once logged in, click “My Applications” to view the status of your application, take action on pending tasks, and/or update your information.
I recently completed an application, but need to edit my contact information, email address, resume or employment preferences. How can I make changes?
Click “My Career” at the top of our career website. From there, click ‘Register/Sign In’ to log into the IQVIA candidate portal, using the username and password you created for your application. Here, you can edit your contact information, view your applications and search for jobs.
What should I do if I experience issues logging into my candidate profile?
Click “My Career”, ‘Register/Sign In’ at the top right-hand side of the screen and then “Forgot your password?”.
How does the IQVIA referral process work?
Most IQVIA employees are eligible to participate in our Employee Referral Program. If an employee refers you to an open position or you have questions about the program, please contact the individual directly and/or reach out to your recruiter.
What is the interview process like?
Given the success of our virtual interviewing model, and the flexibility it allows for candidates, we use virtual interviewing for many of our interviews. The process varies by role, but most interviews start with a pre-recorded video and/or phone screen, and then move to rounds of interviews with the hiring manager and relevant team members.
During your interviews, you can expect questions about your skills, experiences and knowledge of the company. For more specific guidance on the interview structure, please contact your recruiter.
How should I prepare for my interview?

If your interview requires a case study, presentation or examination, you will be notified in advance. If these are not mentioned, you can assume they are not required.
Who is the main point of contact throughout the interview process?
To ensure efficiency throughout the interview process, the recruiter is your primary contact for questions, technical issues and interview feedback. The recruitment coordinator will manage scheduling on behalf of the recruiter.
You can reach out to either the recruiter or the coordinator at any time during the process.
Where can I find job descriptions?
The job description for the role you applied to can be found by logging into our candidate portal, Workday. From there, click the requisition number under “My Applications.” You can also contact your recruiter directly.
Will my travel be reimbursed?
Please contact your recruiter to find out more about the reimbursement policy in your country.
Which language will the interview be conducted in?
Most interviews are conducted in English unless otherwise specified. However, some questions may be asked in local language.
Which platform will my interview be conducted on?
For early-stage interviews and screening calls, we utilize a video interviewing technology called, HireVue. Other interviews are conducted on Microsoft Teams, unless otherwise specified. If you have any Microsoft Teams issues, please reference this guide.
When can I discuss my salary expectations?
At IQVIA, we aim for competitive compensation, using relevant market benchmarks that align to our global job architecture. Candidate compensation will be based on the specific role you apply to, work location, and legitimate job-related factors, which may include experience, qualifications, skills, education and certifications. You may discuss compensation during your screening call with your recruiter.

How long does the onboarding process typically last?
The duration of the onboarding process varies based on the complexity of your role and the specific requirements of your department. Generally, onboarding spans several weeks to ensure a comprehensive integration. Our IQVIA onboarding app will guide you through the first 120 days as well as provide resources to help you learn and connect along the way.
When can I let my network know I am joining IQVIA?
We understand that sharing exciting news about your new role is natural and can help strengthen your professional network. While we value your enthusiasm, we recommend waiting until your first day. This way, you have access to IQVIA brand guidelines and social templates to help you make an external announcement.
What support will I receive during my onboarding?

• Onboarding App: our user-friendly onboarding app will be your go-to resource throughout the onboarding journey. It will provide step-by-step guidance to help you navigate your first weeks and months at IQVIA.

• Manager and team support: your manager and team members will play a vital role in supporting your onboarding. They will provide guidance, clarify expectations, and help you understand your role within the team and the broader IQVIA.

During your onboarding journey, you will be introduced to those who will play an essential role in your journey, including your manager, teammates, and colleagues across the organization who you may work with closely. You will also be paired with an onboarding partner, who can offer valuable guidance and support as you ease into your new role.
