Role overview

As a Medical Writer within the IME team, you will produce a wide range of multi-media educational materials pitched at an HCP audience. You will work with colleagues across EPG Health to support proposals and deliver exceptional content to deadline.

Responsibilities

  • Create a wide range of engaging, medically accurate multi-media medical education materials aimed at an HCP audience that meet the requirements of accepted proposals
  • Ensure that all content is ABPI compliant, easy for busy healthcare professionals to consume, and supports deeper engagement and behaviour change
  • Manage your workload and output across multiple projects, in collaboration with project-management and sales teams
  • Innovate with EPG Health colleagues to increase the scope and value of content on Medthority

Qualifications and skills:

  • BSc or higher in biomedical science
  • Minimum 1 year experience in medical education, communications or journalism, or related work in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong writing and reviewing skills, with excellent attention to detail, across a variety of content types
  • Ability to pick up on new therapy areas quickly and to work across multiple projects
  • Familiarity with the drug development process and the relevant regulations that influence communicating with healthcare professionals and the public
  • Strong project and time-management skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach, with the ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to change, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently as part of a geographically dispersed team
