Job Description

IQVIA offers a broad range of consulting services and solutions that harness the power of healthcare data, domain expertise, transformative technology, and advanced analytics to drive healthcare forward. We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to join us as a Consultant to support our Analytics Solutions team in the Nordics.

This role sits in the Nordic department of Real World & Analytics Solutions, a multidisciplinary consulting team serving life science and healthcare stakeholders with insights and advice in the Nordics. The focus of the role is to support projects related to Customer Engagement and Market Insights to support clients at the stage of launching a new product in the Nordics.

What you will do

As a Consultant, you will be supporting projects for clients in the Nordics. Consultants are responsible for owning and delivering work independently and should be able to lead projects or defined streams as part of a larger engagement. The role will be in an experienced team with colleagues in all Nordic countries and you will be fully integrated in the Nordic Consulting team. Your analytical skills, creative thinking, and business management skills will be called upon from day one.

Every project will be different, but an idea of the things that you are expected to accomplish are the following:

  • Analyze complex numerical data, working closely together with analysts leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to support clients with innovative solutions helping them to move healthcare forward
  • Work in a team of like-minded professionals to create reports, presentations, and workshops with client employees, management teams, or other stakeholders
  • Support the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and assist in the development of proposals for cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction
  • Proactively broaden knowledge of consulting methodologies, especially focused on the health and life sciences industries, through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities

About you

Candidates interested in joining as a Consultant should have:

  • Master’s degree in, for example, Data Science, engineering, business administration, economics, health economics, or health sciences from a top business/research school
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare consulting or an equivalent role
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated interest in the health and life sciences industry sector, and willingness to build deep industry skills focusing on customer excellence
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English and Finnish, or preferably another Nordic language.
  • Proactive personality and excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others across the Nordic countries and with our Global Excellence Centers
  • Interest in a career in healthcare and life sciences industries
  • Adaptability and ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
