Clinical Specialist – Wound Closure (orthopedic focus) – South East France

As part of a team expansion project across the EU including Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and the UK, IQVIA is recruiting for 2 field-based Clinical Specialist positions in France, on behalf of our client - a highly respected global company renowned for its innovation and success within pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical device sectors. In France, territories available via our recruitment partners include:

  • South East (PACA, Occitanie, Auvergne Rhone Alpes)

In this newly created role, you will be tasked with increasing uptake of an innovative range of sutures, focusing particularly on orthopaedic procedures including hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, helping surgeons and the wider theatre team understand the benefits of adopting this new technology versus current practices, based on their needs. Working as part of a collaborative territory team, you will provide in-person product demonstrations and support suture trials within target hospital accounts, using leads supplied by the company’s remote Inside Sales function. You will also contribute to a variety of activities to ensure hospital-wide success, including sharing customer insights, inventory management and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Qualified nurse (minimum Diploma level, Masters preferred)
  • Must have good working knowledge of the French healthcare environment
  • Knowledge / experience of orthopedic surgical procedures preferred
  • Must have experience in the sales / promotion of medical devices or pharmaceutical products in France
  • A good level of English is essential
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • A drivers license is required, with the willingness to travel throughout your allocated territory as required.
