Job Overview

Developing, implementing, managing, and validating projects for pharmaceutical client engagements to help answer complex business questions utilizing Real world Data from  external Data partners.

Essential Functions

• Developing, implementing, managing, and validating projects for pharmaceutical client engagements to help answer complex business questions utilizing Real world Data from  external Data partners.

• Assisting the IQVIA Real World Insights and Commercial Services teams with use of appropriate data assets, methodologies, statistical techniques and delivery options to meet client information and analyses needs.

• Coordinating with Operational Teams from Real World Insights area during project building  to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Support designing methodologically sound studies to meet project objectives and stakeholder requirements (e.g., regulatory, payers, etc.) utilizing RWD from  partners

• Collaborating closely with project managers to create time lines for the project and to ensure that project results and conclusions are presented accurately and without bias.

• Working with consulting principals and sales team on business development effort by providing ad-hoc feasibility reports, providing estimations of effort and developing methodologies that address client needs, according to RWD partners specific contract parameters and data availability.

• Building expertise in cross-platform applications of IQVIA assets with a specialization in longitudinal pharmacy and medical claims IQVIA data associated with our growing RWD Partners network.

• Contributing to the development innovative methodologies and new offerings. Creating and refining best practices and approaches.

• Mentoring junior team members. Potential for direct people management based on desire and prior experience.

• Understanding of Healthcare System nuances in Brazil and applied evidence generation to support Market Access discussions.

• May represent IQVIA externally through conference presentations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Pharmacy, dental, medical, nursing, life sciences or related field qualification or educational equivalent
  • Master's Degree in the any of the applied Healthcare area such as Pharmacy, Nurse, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related field
  • Innovative thinking on conceptual products and services, knowledge of state-of-the-art statistical/longitudinal/data mining methods,
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated with ability to determine and meet objectives with independent personal development in new database sources;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients in a global and matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Edge. Ability to read outputs from SAS, R or other programming languages.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical industry strongly desired.
