We are seeking a Specimen Management Associate to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Valencia, CA.

Shift: Shift: Wed-Fri 12pm-8:30pm, Sat-Sun 10am-6:30pm

As a Specimen Management Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring complete traceability and accountability of all samples collected, received, and/or shipped.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring all samples are accurately identified, sorted, and labeled for testing and/or storage.
• Identifying errors or potential problems and escalating to senior level staff.
• Notifying customers of receipt and engaging as necessary regarding routine inquiries.
• Maintaining freezer and inventory.
• Guiding entry level staff on basic department procedures and assisting with onboarding of new staff.
• Supporting and responding to after-hour alarms and/or other job critical functions.
• Supporting safety, quality, and 6S requirements and initiatives.
• Notifying appropriate staff of supply shortages.

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma required.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Basic knowledge of laboratory systems and procedures.
• Good working knowledge of relevant procedures.
• Knowledge of GLP regulations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
