We are currently looking for an Healthcare Engagement & Strategic Partnerships Consultant to join our Real World Solutions team based in Athens.
The Consultant will be involved in building and reinforcing IQVIA Hellas position among crucial healthcare stakeholders with relation to the PPG business (payers & providers), by helping develop relevant solutions. Having strong strategic, interpersonal and execution skills, the person will be in charge for enhancing IQVIA’s reputation in the Greek external environment and building trust with key external healthcare stakeholders (hospitals, public and private institutions, insurance companies, etc.). As part of his/her role, the Consultant will collaborate with other members of the team to generate insights and generate solutions by combining internal expertise with external network , helping our clients tackle major healthcare policies challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including decision-makers, political stakeholders, public and private insurers, private/public hospitals’ management, interest groups and industry associations to build and reinforce IQVIA’s network and maintain open dialogue.
- Convert recent regulatory updates and market developments into innovative services, such as those for Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG)
- Combine IQVIA knowledge and experience to create new expertise and, thus, help develop new services
- Work with public and private stakeholders to enhance data sources (real-world, health insurance data, etc.) to be leveraged for ad-hoc strategic analysis
- In collaboration with RWS colleagues (from Health Technology Assesment/ Health Economics and Market Access division), work on the design of strategies to support the development of health policy projects
- Participate in healthcare summits and congresses (at local level)
Experience and Personal Skills:
- MSc degree preferably in Economics, Management, Biostatistics or Engineering with strong record of academic achievement
- 3+ years of work experience with Pharmaceutical Company / management consulting / Payer / Provider firm (specialized in Healthcare)
- Proficiency in English and Greek (both written and spoken)
- Excellent relational and communicational skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- Great analytical skills (knowledge of statistical tools will be considered a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines;
- Ability to work on a team
- Keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve
