We are seeking a Genomics Technical Proposal Specialist to join IQVIA Laboratories in Durham, NC.

In this role, you will be coordinating the timely creation of technical proposals for client-focused custom genomics projects primarily in support of clinical trials. You will be authoring technical proposals directly or in collaboration with subject matter experts, including a technical workplan, timeline, and budget. You will also be tracking the status of technical proposal requests and completed proposals to facilitate resource projections and improve proposal processes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Adhering to all corporate policies, procedures, and employee handbook contents.
- Intaking technical proposal requests and creating superior proposals directly and through collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Managing multiple proposals at various stages to contribute towards business objectives.
- Improving, developing, and maintaining processes designed to create superior technical proposals, including problem statements, experimental plans, project phasing, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Leading communications with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Contributing towards the growth and development of a dynamic laboratory team utilizing contemporary methods to support clinical trials.
- Functioning in a team environment, recognizing shifting priorities according to business needs and maintaining a flexible work schedule.
- Other duties, as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- BS, BA, or advanced degree.
- Minimum five years of experience, with at least two years of direct experience planning, executing, and summarizing experiments in a laboratory setting.
- Experience with molecular testing in a commercial clinical laboratory operating under CAP/CLIA guidelines is strongly preferred.
- Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:
- Working knowledge of GCP, CAP/CLIA, and HIPAA requirements.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with independent work and functioning as part of a team.
- Excellent planning, organizational, budgeting, and customer service skills.
- Expert user of standard office productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with appropriate tools for managing, visualizing, and reporting on projects.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $76,300.00 - $127,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
