We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join a team of data-driven consultants, being part of the main services/consultancy provider dedicated to the Healthcare Industry.
In the commercial services, we partner with business intelligence managers, commercial excellence lead, business unit directors and general managers in the pharmaceutical market to support them leveraging and interpreting data and make evidenced-based decisions for their commercial strategy.
Tasks and responsibilities
You will work together with the team on projects to review client requirements, execute data analysis and modelling and present conclusions and recommendations for stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
Typical project types would be:
- Involvement in qualitative market research;
- Designing scenarios for the appropriate commercial organization;
- Involvement in rather insight generating ad hoc projects for public authorities;
- Involvement in projects to evaluate commercial policy, assess price elasticity of consumers / patients and to come to new scenarios of commercial policy;
- Assessment of the execution quality & impact of the current engagement strategy & formulate recommendations to update the engagement strategy or execution follow-up;
- Measuring the impact of trade marketing strategy, in store execution and formulate recommendations to update the engagement strategy or execution follow-up;
- The set-up of omnichannel touch point journeys for Consumer Healthcare or Animal Health drugs;

Required knowledge, skills & abilities
Formal qualifications and experience
Experience from the CH industry
- 5 – 8 years of experience in human pharma company;
- Brand Marketing / Trade Marketing / Shopper Marketing / Key Account Management – Channel Manager
- Ideally with an expertise within a combined trade environment : Brick & Mortar pharmacy / Online / traditional retail
- French or Dutch as mother tongue
- Very good level in English
- Fluent in oral AND written communication (presentation / email / report)
- High level of interest in data driven projects
- Already good skills in excel and ready / interested in bringing these excel skills to a next level
Specific skills and abilities
Ready to be operationally involved in projects:
- Ready to be customer facing;
- Being able to translate abstract customer requirements into a compelling project proposal (methodological and price proposal);
- Being able / ready to undertake the necessary data analytics in excel;
- Being able to read / formulate conclusions out of excel or reporting technology (like Power BI, Tableau) based analytics / charts and to translate these into recommendations;
- Being able to translate analytics & the outcomes of qualitative / quantitative research into stories;
- Being able to drive a project team: project management (align on milestones / deadlines), inspire the team with methodological approach, give guidance on the team when project execution related questions arise, quality follow-up of project member’s tasks;
- Handling different projects in parallel;
- Ready to facilitate customer workshops / presentations in front of smaller or larger audiences;
- Being able to undertake qualitative discussions with Healthcare professionals or Healthcare stakeholders like pharmacists / prescribers / nurses / members of the hospitals decision making unit;
- The production of compelling powerpoint presentations as project deliverable (exceptionally descriptive word reports)
Location
Based in Herent office (which will be open until end of April 2025) with regular presence in Zaventem office.
- 2 days/week of homeworking
- 3 days/week based at the office
