Job Title: Healthcare Practice Lead, Switzerland

Role is hybrid linked to the office in Zug

Job Overview: The Healthcare Practice Lead will own and support the growth of the IQIVA Payer, Provider and Government (PPG) business within the Switzerland market. This position requires extensive external and internal networking to develop contacts and engage with a defined portfolio of clients to drive the opportunity pipeline, including generating leads. The position will also lead key strategic and large opportunities critical to achieving our commercial and financial goals, working with various teams to coordinate a customer centric approach to drive sales. The candidate should have a substantial experience in the healthcare industry, including a proven track record of selling directly to healthcare clients, and bring extensive knowledge of Healthcare IT tech offerings, customer account management, and the ability to influence senior-level executives both internally and at customer organizations. This position requires the ability to work independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset to engage the with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Healthcare Practice for Switzerland, supporting the ambition for high growth both in deepening the partnerships with existing customers, and in expanding our customer base.
  • Deploy extensive external and internal networking to develop contacts and engage with your defined portfolio of clients to drive your opportunity pipeline, e.g., generating leads.
  • Personally lead key strategic and large opportunities that are critical to achieving regional plan and financial goals.
  • Partner with EMEA in-country PPG sales team to adopt and sell established solutions from the PPG portfolio.
  • Support the build-out of account plans and develop/evolve client-specific account strategies.
  • Partner with other regional and global sales functions, including Real-World Account Directors, to engage C-suite and key influencers and budget holders within the client base.
  • Assess any additional client potential within white space analysis to directly drive revenue & growth.
  • Support offerings teams to provide input to develop and adapt current solutions, to create new & improved client-centric offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of selling directly to Healthcare clients, ideally within the provider Health IT and/or operational clinical systems area.
  • Prior experience in the Swiss HIS/EMR market or in provider workflow technology.
  • Extensive knowledge of Health IT tech offerings, customer account management, and the Healthcare industry – Pharmaceutical industry knowledge desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior level execs both internally and at customer organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and engage wider go-to-market stakeholders across the organization both internally and externally.
  • Bachelor’s degree with substantial experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Fluency in English, German and French.
