Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years IT experience in Lab setting; 3+ years as Business Analyst in Lab/Central Lab to enhance business systems and deliver effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools for internal teams and client solutions.

Central Lab Business Analyst
We are seeking experienced Lab Project Managers with strong expertise in managing clinical trials for sponsors, who are interested in transitioning into IT/Business Analyst roles. The position focuses on driving the development of system solutions that address operational challenges and enable the optimal execution of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
•    Lab Project Management: Oversee and coordinate central lab projects and services.
•    Clinical Trial Management: Manage end-to-end clinical projects and ensure smooth execution of clinical trials.
•    Domain Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of the Central Lab domain, including:
o    Study Setup
o    Kitting
o    Sample Processing & Management (Pre-analytical)
o    Analytical Processes (Test Ordering, Test Resulting)
o    Lab Result Report Generation
o    Project Management
IT & Business Analyst Responsibilities
•    Product Ownership: Act as Product Owner for analytics and reporting solutions, delivering actionable insights for internal operations and external stakeholders.
•    Business Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and propose innovative, value-added solutions.
•    Data Analysis: Use SQL to analyze laboratory data across domains and present meaningful insights.
•    Visualization & Prototyping: Develop dashboards and prototypes in Power BI to support decision-making.
•    Requirements Definition: Define system scope, objectives, and detailed requirements aligned with business needs.
•    System Development: Support the design, development, and modification of business systems; resolve logical and functional issues.
•    SDLC Support: Provide assistance during all phases of the software development lifecycle, including development, system verification testing (SVT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Candidate Profile
•    Experienced in Central Lab operations and clinical trial management.
•    Open to transitioning into technology/IT-focused roles.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•    Hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI preferred.
•    Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
