We are seeking Scientist, LCMS to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Ithaca, NY.

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for the accurate execution of laboratory experiments and contribution to the design of scientific procedures. This position is expected to aid in the development of scientific discovery and support Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for the customer.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Under minimal supervision, perform routine qualitative and quantitative laboratory procedures following all safety protocols and GLP as defined by the customer.

• Prepare experiments and samples for analyses.

• Analyze and accurately report results in a timely manner to contribute to scientific meetings and project outcomes.

• Operate and conduct routine maintenance of laboratory instruments and troubleshoot procedures in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Accurately document all procedures following customer requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in applied/laboratory sciences with direct laboratory coursework.

• 0–2 years of direct laboratory experience.

• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

• Strong communication skills and ability to perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Ability to lift 25 lbs minimum.

• Basic computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent).

• Skilled at prioritizing tasks, problem solving, and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to understand and follow scientific protocols, policies, and procedures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $55,500.00 - $92,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
