We are seeking a Scientist - Biotransformation Large Molecule to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Indianapolis.

Job Summary: As a Scientist in Biotransformation for Large Molecules, you will be instrumental in conducting and documenting analytical procedures, contributing to the design and execution of bioanalytical methods, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing and documenting analytical procedures in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Supporting safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performing a variety of technical procedures and experimental execution in support of bioanalytical needs for biotransformation studies.
- Contributing to studies analyzing small and large molecules.
- Doing quantitative proteomics is a beneficial experience.
- Sample preparation including incubations with enzymes, biological matrices, and chemical modifications (derivatizations and hydrolysis).
- Analyzing of samples using LC-MS and MS/MS using nominal mass spectrometers (Sciex with Analyst application) and high-resolution mass spectrometers (Thermo orbitrap with Xcalibur application or Waters QTOF with MassLynx application).
- Maintaining of laboratory and instrumentation, writing reports, analyzing data and method development.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, or a Master’s degree with relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in method development or a specific methodology area.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques for small molecule drug development.
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
- Strong foundation in method development and analytical techniques.
- Understanding of sample handling, preparation, and the drug development process.
- Working knowledge of regulatory agency standards.
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $62,400.00 - $104,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
