Job Description
The Quality Manager is responsible for the oversight of quality management programs within Greater China (GC) Commercial. The purpose of this role includes:
1) evaluating local policies and procedures for continuous process improvements;
2) conducting regular checks and monitor follow-up actions;
3) providing advice and supporting relevant key stakeholders with regard to quality control, risk management, and corrective/preventive actions;
4) promoting a culture of integrity and commitment to compliance across the organization.
This position will report to Director, Strategic Planning of GC Commercial, while under the governance of IQVIA Global QA group.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Framework
• Evaluate local SOPs and procedures to ensure they comply with applicable regulations / corporate requirements / local practices.
• Serve as an author of local quality management SOPs as required.
2. Execution Excellence
• Conduct regular checks to assess compliance with regulations and local or customer operating procedures.
• Assist findings owners prepare corrective/preventive actions plans.
• Ensure the follow-up of major and critical audit findings.
• Document and report quality and compliance issues to GC management.
3. Expert Resources
• Represent GC Commercial quality program on internal and external audits.
• Serve as a key resource for responding to internal and external compliance related inquiries and issues.
4. Training and Culture
• Develop and implement corporate and local compliance training programs.
• Monitor and improve training attendance and eLearning completion, including platforms such as Learning Edge and SmartSolve.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e. project team and account managers) and external (i.e. corporate and client QA).
- Education and Experience:
1. Education
• Bachelor's Degree required.
2. Experience
• 2 years or above of related experience in quality assurance, quality management, internal control, compliance, audit, etc., preferably with exposure to healthcare, professional services, or related industries.
3. Additional Work Experience
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may also be considered.

1. Knowledge and Expertise
• Sound working knowledge of internal control frameworks, compliance best practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applicable regulatory requirements, quality management processes.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment within established procedures to determine the appropriate course of action.
2. Project Management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
3. Interpersonal Skills
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and direct teams to achieve project objectives within designated timelines.
4. Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
