Are you passionate about clinical research and eager to start your journey in clinical monitoring?
As a Clinical Research Intern with our Site Management (multi-sponsor) team, you will assist clinical trials whilst receiving comprehensive training through our CRA development program and work towards becoming a Clinical Research Associate.
We are offering a full time and paid internship on a 9-month fixed term contract, with the potential to become permanent upon completion. Candidates must be able to commit to full time working on-site in Reading, Berkshire and be able to travel to sites as required.
Job Overview
• Assist with accurately updating and maintaining clinical documents and systems (e.g.,Trial Master File (TMF)) that track site compliance and performance within project timelines
• Assist the clinical team with the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures
• Assist with periodic review of study files for completeness
• Assist CRAs and Country Site Activation team with preparation, handling and
distribution of Clinical Trial Supplies and maintenance of tracking information
• Complete CRA training program and develop knowledge of clinical research monitoring, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and appropriate therapeutic area and protocols
• Accompany CRAs on site visits to assist with clinical monitoring duties upon completion of required training
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline
• Passion for clinical research and ambition to grow into a CRA role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
