Analyst, Consumer Health

Location: Hybrid - Melbourne VIC / Sydney NSW

Type: Full time permanent

IQVIA are currently looking for a Analyst to join its Consumer Health Consulting team.

You will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of assignments ranging in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker, capable of analysing and solving problems with a strategic and innovative approach.

You must provide high quality, on-time input to both client projects and offering development projects (non-client projects).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse client requirements and develop insightful, value add proposals; communicates with clients; develops and may present complete client-specific solutions and recommendations
• Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions
• Assists in the design/structure and completion of client specific presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience, that will vary in seniority, i.e. from analysts to C-Suite executives
• Develops, and at times present, complete client deliverables within known/identified frameworks and methodologies.
• Develop broad knowledge of related consulting and/or observational methodologies, as well as of the FMCG market through the delivery of engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities

Key requirements:

• A strong academic record is required
• Relevant life-sciences background and/or an experienced professional with extensive proven experience of delivering commercial pharmaceutical or FMCG projects at a global level is desired
• Experience with data science tools and technologies is also highly desirable
• Able to present complex qualitative and quantitative insights to clients of a broad range of specialities in a simple and engaging manner
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the FMCG and consumer health industries is highly desirable
• Have previously worked in a client facing role
• Proven ability to think analytically and solve complex problems with a strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques is advantageous.
• Highly motivated to exceed expectations and contribute to team success.
• Self-sufficient and confident in working independently with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Experience in project management, with a strong ability to coordinate tasks and drive results.
• Quick learner with a high level of adaptability, able to absorb and apply new knowledge effectively.
