IQVIA Türkiye is looking for a seasoned sales leader to join our team as the Director of Commercial Engagement Services.

Reporting into the General Manager, Turkey, the role will lead our Contract Sales Organization (CSO), Patient Support Program (PSP) and Risk Management Program businesses, overseeing a large team of sales representatives, nurses and doctors, and will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, building strategic partnerships, and maximizing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of the budgeted revenue and contribution for CSO (Contract Sales Organization), Patient Support and Risk Management Program businesses, ensuring key financial milestones are achieved.

  • Monitor and track sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare facilities, clinics, and industry partners.

  • Collaboratively, work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.

  • Participate in sales/proposal presentations in face-to-face meetings with potential customers and take direct accountability in operations and delivery for specified customers.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales representatives, nurses, doctors to drive performance, fostering a continuous-improvement culture.

  • Lead Operational Excellence initiatives within the CES team to identify areas for process improvement. Optimize operational workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree required, master’s degree or other advanced education/certifications a plus.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development / commercial roles selling solutions to customers in the healthcare and life science sector, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven success and positive track record of sales performance

  • Ability to harmonize commercial vision with operational execution

  • Successful record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining top talent and effectively managing team performance and operational excellence

  • Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo

  • Previous experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (like Lean) is desirable

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of medical services and market dynamics.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; should be an effective team player who can engender credibility and trust.

  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize initiatives, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of integrity, business ethics and self confidence

  • Fluency in English and Turkish
