Solution Sales Director, (US-Remote)

This is a home-based remote role, with no location restrictions, that requires up to 50% travel.
Position Summary:
Drives business for the Channel & Specialty solution suite of the IQVIA offering, providing the expertise and sales leadership to identify & qualify revenue opportunities, proactively manages the selling process, and closes the sale in both existing and new accounts. Utilizes experience and expertise in channel & specialty data aggregation, patient data aggregation, patient tokenization and data integration to derive necessary solutions to maximize new business opportunities and expand existing services. Exceptional ability to communicate and coordinate the sales, business & service lines to ensure effective execution against client needs and IQVIA revenue targets.
Essential Functions
- Understands the key priorities of the client and manages the effective communication of their business within IQVIA.
- Achieves growth & revenue targets for assigned suites of the IQVIA offerings through a consultative sales approach that solves client business issues.
- Considered subject matter expert of these suites and their applications within client organizations.
- Collaborates with account teams to establish account planning strategies, targets and executes opportunities for assigned offerings. Adjusts plan accordingly to consider new IQVIA product/service offerings as well as significant changes to business conditions.
- Identifies and leads the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s).
- Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts. Interfaces with customer at all levels.
- Takes proactive role in contract strategy. Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win-back opportunities in assigned account(s).
- Leads negotiation in renewing multi-year contract(s) within assigned accounts.
- Identifies and manages resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA capabilities & solutions to customers. Creates and presents client proposals that result in winning sales.
- Coordinates cadence of communications with client(s) and internal teams, as needed, for alignment of goals, delivery, implementation, change management, project steering and issue resolution to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintains high-level of personal integrity and organization to collaborate across cross-functional teams, manage complex tasks and meet deadlines.
- As part of the sales process, gathers market and client intelligence and provides strategic feedback to Marketing, Consulting, Service, and Sales to strengthen the offerings and capture additional business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Req
- Nine (9) years relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience Req
- Possesses knowledge of key marketplace issues for the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses.
- Subject matter expertise of a number of IQVIA offerings and the application of those offerings to improve client business processes.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $134,200.00 - $249,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
