Job Title: Sales Manager - Pharmaceutical

Location: Africa Francophone - FSWA

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Africa Francophone - FSWA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and business goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Francophone African market.

Distributor Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure effective route-to-market plans.
  • Monitor distributor performance and provide support to optimize sales outcomes.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management on market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance.

Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Drive sustainable profitable growth through the execution of sales strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities.

Budget Management:

  • Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and control discount budgets to maximize sales effectiveness.

Trade Initiatives Execution:

  • Ensure excellence in the execution of trade initiatives.
  • Deliver main KPIs, with the ultimate success measure being the growth of recommendation and market share of key brands, and achieving overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and budget management.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
