Candidate should have over 5 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a robust ability to comprehend existing codebases, implement enhancements aligned with business requirements, and monitor and optimize ongoing processes. They are adept at debugging code and leveraging new tools and technologies to upgrade systems to newer versions. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in analyzing proposed changes and determining the appropriate course of action.
Key Contribution Areas
- Uses current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
- Works independently to analyze, design, program, debug, modify, and deploy software with minimum supervision.
- Translates requirements and design specifications into computer program instructions, debugs routine programs, prepares system test data and prepares program documentation.
- Creates/maintains internal documentation including system support guide, process flows and other application support documentation where applicable
- Automates manual processes and enhances software to be more supportable and better performing
- Maintains effective relationships with diversified groups such as system administrators, development, deployment and production support teams and interact with users to define/understand system requirements and follow standards and process.
Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle and above & PL/SQL, writing SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers etc.
- Exposure to SQL Query Performance Tuning, job monitoring and working with Databases handling large data volume.
- Ability to analyze and understand data and develop applications with UNIX/Linux commands and scripting
- Possess a good understanding of RDBMS (Oracle) and distributed computing.
- Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
- Interact with various team members/management around the globe, across different time zones
- Understanding of SDLC for building the application, testing, documenting, and deploying it at scale.
- Demonstrate analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including meeting facilitation
Good to have skills:
- Willingness to utilize opportunities to learn MS SSIS, MS SQL Stored procedures.
- Working with Job automation tools (like: ESP Cybermation).
- Exposure to Source control systems (like: VSS, TFS, Harvest, GIT, and SVN).
- Knowledge of Healthcare Organization and Professional and Affiliation data
- MS Office Suite development and basic understanding of SharePoint
