Essential Functions
• Serve as a support for general financial planning and analysis for a global business unit.
• Revenue recognition and reporting by business segments, product portfolio and customers. Analyze Pipeline view and create revenue projection reports for consumption by Finance and Business leadership.
• Recommends and implements system solutions for the budget and forecast processes.
• Monitors and reports on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity.
• Review and perform month end activities by NOE. Record accruals and prepare reclass entries accordingly (including recharges to other BUs and SW deferrals calcs).
• Analyze and maintain schedule of Prepaids by vendor and agree with GL monthly postings. Hygiene in SAP/PeopleSoft accounts (up to date and accuracy) and flow into Hyperion.
• Maintain Financial Reporting structure and Cost rates in EBX and PSA.
• Create and maintain financial ad-hoc analysis (especially for granular revenue) for business and finance leadership.
• Headcount forecasting and reporting – Workday info in Hyperion.
• Analyzes monthly forecasts and revenue results to identify key growth drivers and trends. Facilitate regular reviews with Business stakeholders and keep them informed about key Financial/Non-Financial Metrics. Proactively look for cost optimization opportunities and highlight areas of improvement for timely action.
• Support M&A work across the portfolio, assist in reporting and financial integration of acquired businesses.
• Research and reports on ad hoc information requests.
Qualifications
• Postgraduate (Chartered Accountant /CIMA) Degree Or equivalent in Finance/Accounting. Req
• 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, accounting, and finance. Req
• Experience in financial systems and databases: SAP, Excel - required, Hyperion, PeopleSoft - advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focus.
• Experience in presenting and working with senior management.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
• Technical proficiency with financial application software is essential.
• High level of integrity and self-confidence.
