We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Key Account Manager with proven experience in the Nephrology therapy area to join an exceptional team on a full-time basis. This field-based role involves driving the success of a rare disease portfolio by educating and raising awareness about the disease, ultimately improving patient outcomes. The position covers the London territory and includes occasional domestic and international travel. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients within the nephrology therapy area and create lasting change.
Your Role:
• Implementing key account plans to optimize patient care and achieve commercial objectives and sales targets as well as post-launch KPIs.
• Allocating resources effectively and monitoring progress in key accounts, taking ownership of accounts within your territory.
• Building strong customer relationships and utilizing existing contacts to secure sales, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the product, while networking and nurturing meaningful relationships with key opinion leaders and advocates.
• Supporting the development of diagnostic and referral centres.
• Organizing and managing local meetings and representing the company as an ambassador at national conferences.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and always ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
What You Will Bring:
• Degree level education or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in the nephrology therapy area, ideally with ER, urology, and GI experience as well.
• Demonstrable experience in bio/pharmaceutical sales and key account management, with a strong sense of business acumen to enhance healthcare structures and drive product awareness.
• Curious by nature, you’re not afraid to try new techniques and have a proven ability to build professional relationships and promote products within healthcare settings.
• Motivated and driven, you’re a self-starter that can work autonomously, yet collaboratively where required to achieve the best outcome for all.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to travel regularly within the territory.
• A full, clean, valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
