IQVIA are seeking individuals with a passion for clinical trials to kickstart their career as part of our 2025 Clinical Trials Internship.
As a Clinical Trials Intern with our Site Management team, you will be trained as a Clinical Trial Assistant to build your knowledge of clinical trial operations.
Candidates must be able to commit to full time working on-site in Reading, Berkshire, with a view to become hybrid based after initial training. Paid internship for 9-month fixed term contract, with a view to become permanent.
Job Overview
- Perform daily administrative activities, in conjunction with the Clinical Research Associates and Country Site Activation team, to ensure a complete and accurate Trial Master File delivery.
Essential Functions
- Assist with accurately updating and maintaining clinical documents and systems (e.g., Trial Master File (TMF)) that track site compliance and performance within project timelines.
- Assist the clinical team with the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the scope of work and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with periodic review of study files for completeness.
- Assist CRAs and Country Site Activation team with preparation, handling and distribution of Clinical Trial Supplies and maintenance of tracking information.
- Act as a central contact for the clinical team for designated project communications, correspondence, and associated documentation.
- May accompany CRAs on site visits to assist with clinical monitoring duties upon completion of required training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (scientific discipline or health care preferred but will consider other areas such as communications or data)
- Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language as well as ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
