Job Overview
Provides expertise in statistical methodologies and project management support.
Essential Functions
• Provides statistical methodology and project management support for commercial deliverables as well as custom studies.
• Develops tactical study plans in answer to business questions, performs quantitative research, and provides written summaries of study results.
• Gathers recommendations from other departments to develop research plans, identifying appropriate data sources, and delivery options in meeting client information and analyses needs.
• Defines statistical design and methodology to meet client information needs.
• May manage statisticians and statistical programmers processing study data.
• Conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study, and identifies new opportunities for standard reports and for value-added analytics.
• Consults with clients on design and methodology and provides input for client proposals.
• Works on projects of complex scope where independent judgement is used within a broad range of defined procedures and practices.
• Develops new applications and methodologies for existing or newly aquired data.
• Leads design efforts in selecting statistical methodology for use in the development and launch of new products.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Statistics, Mathematics, Bio-informatics or a related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience Req Or
• Master's Degree Statistics, Mathematics, Bio-informatics or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience Req Or
• Ph.D. Statistics, Mathematics, Bio-informatics or a related field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience and proficiency in statistical programming software Req
• Innovative thinking on conceptual products and services, knowledge of state-of-the-art statistical/longitudinal/data mining methods, and independent personal development in new database sources.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under stringent deadlines and be multi-task oriented.
• Experience with pharmaceutical industry strongly desired.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $117,400.00 - $218,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
