Job Summary:

The Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with the receipt of clinical specimens.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting all requisitions from Specimen Processors bench to conduct Secondary QC, LRQC, and EAF for TOPCAT, QLIMS, and LTMS accessioning platforms.

• Creating batches as indicated in established SOPs for scanning requisitions within the Teleform Capture Application.

• Assisting with second pass QC of Special Projects Studies using provided Manifests.

• Actioning and replying to all emails sent to group via Outlook.

• Working on assigned tickets within VIA system for RQCQ and/or Records Management requests.

• Assisting with archiving all requisitions accordingly per month.

• Ensuring all Metrics are entered correctly and according to daily requirements.

• Assisting with the receipt of consignments and shipments.

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Basic Computer skills.

• Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

• Knowledge of Excel, Word Document applications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety compliance.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $33,600.00 - $56,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
