IQVIA’s Digital Products and Solutions Safety Technologies Product Management organization is looking for a passionate Individual Contributor (IC Role) as Assoc Dir in Product Management team to define, build, launch, enhance and grow the SaaS generation of Pharmacovigilance and work closely with our engineering teams and clients to guide products from conception to launch and continued evolution. As part of the Product Management team you bridge the technical and business worlds as you gather business and regulatory requirements, design features and prioritize improvements.

You'll collaborate closely with engineering but also work with clients, sales, marketing and consulting teams. You have a bias towards action and can break down complex problems into simple, elegant solutions with actions communicated to drive product development. As an ‘Assoc Dir’ – Product Management you will guide, lead and champion the products and be part the team shaping the next generation of Pharmacovigilance that impacts the lives of millions of patients across the world.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the product strategy and its messaging.
• Guide and lead cross-functional areas as needed.
• Represent product management team in various discussions and proactively supervise related functions.
• Gather, author and communicate specific actionable requirements for product development.
• Solicit input from internal and external subject matter experts with a hands-on approach to product design and prototyping that swiftly validate solutions.
• Ensure we are solving the right problems in the best order – and for the product not an individual client.
• Manage product themes and features from definition to release in an Agile manner – design, implement, iterate.
• Utilize the issue tracking system and change control process to ensure that the product back-log is well maintained and prioritized.
• Work with Development and QA team members to ensure development Sprints and Releases are delivered on time and deliver planned business outcomes.
• Be the product champion within the organization, communicating features as the subject matter expert to internal and external audiences.

• Prepare and deliver product training, documentation, user manuals, product release notes, feature/function/benefit overviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams – especially for supporting business development activities.

• Create and deliver product launch content and communication to stakeholders via Webinars and other platforms

• Resolve complex product issues and coordinates the appropriate escalation within IQVIA or the customer.
• Look for opportunities to innovate and uncover use cases to distil into product requirements.
• Be a team player and Individual Contributor (IC Role) with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Eligibility:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The job eligibility requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (MBA or other Masters preferred).
• 13-18 years of IT experience with at least 6-8 years in Pharmacovigilance domain.
• Strong knowledge of Pharmacovigilance Domain (Mandatory) with hands-on experience of PV systems.
• Extensive experience of Product Management in Software Product Development.
• Proven experience of eliciting and drafting Use Cases and Business/User Requirements.
• Capable of translating high level business requirements into detailed functional requirements and documentation that includes screen mock-ups, process diagrams, entity details and database design.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively explain complex problems and advocate solutions to engineering and clients.
• Experience in working in Agile software development environment.
• Interest/Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Algorithms.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce and Snowflake
• Preferred: Experience with JIRA/Confluence agile tools.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $118,200.00 - $219,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
