IQVIA, a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and contract research services to the life sciences industry, is seeking a Head of Clinical Site Network (Avacare) Strategy to join our innovative team. This role will be pivotal in defining and executing the strategy for our Global Clinical Research Site Network Organization, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with broader R&DS goals.

The Head of Clinical Site Network (Avacare) Strategy will be responsible for the following main duties:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and support the execution of the strategy for the Global Clinical Research Site Network Organization, ensuring alignment with broader R&DS goals and driving new business opportunities for revenue growth and financial success.
  • Site Network Expansion: Identify, engage, and contract with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical practices to establish new clinical research sites across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Business Development, Site Intelligence, and Site Operations, to identify opportunities to strengthen the Avacare clinical research site network by selectively engaging with KOLs, HCPs, and Health Care Systems.
  • Onboarding Processes: Execute processes related to onboarding new clinical research sites and new investigators into the Avacare clinical research site network.
  • International Expansion: Formulate and implement plans for expanding the clinical research site network into international markets by launching new clinical research sites in those regions.
  • Commercial Models: Assess and enable optimum commercial models for new sites.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet relevant business key performance indicators pertaining to clinical research site network expansion.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff in accordance with IQVIA’s policies and applicable regulations. Develop managers within areas of accountability to foster staff growth through career progression goals and strategic departmental and corporate priorities.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Contribute to activities related to marketing, global business development, promotion of the value proposition, and strengthening the competitive advantage of the Site Network Organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bringing new clinical research sites and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) into a site network.
  • Strong focus on expanding the Avacare clinical research site network.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to assess and implement effective commercial models.
  • Extensive experience in clinical research, with a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and business development skills.
  • Experience in managing site networks and expanding into international markets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a commitment to innovation and excellence.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is 153 200,00 $ - 284 400,00 $. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
