Job Title: Account Controller

A a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving health outcomes through innovative products and services. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Account Controller to join our team and manage financial operations in Francophone Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Oversee and manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

Account Reconciliation:

  • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and financial regulations.

Cost Control:

  • Monitor and control costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and strategies.

Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries and issues.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular financial reports and analysis to management.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management and account reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
