Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a real impact in the world of clinical research? As a Clinical Research Operations Manager at IQVIA, you will be at the forefront of groundbreaking clinical trials. You will inspire and drive a team of passionate Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to achieve exceptional patient recruitment targets and uphold the highest quality standards at our research sites. Your strategic vision and leadership will forge strong site relationships and propel our operational excellence to new heights. This is in our single Sponsor team. Fixed term 12 month contract. Prior line management experience of Clinical Research Associate is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:Craft and execute visionary strategies to deliver top-tier monitoring services. Align team goals with our bold company objectives to achieve extraordinary results.
- Team Development:Recruit, mentor, and empower CRAs to reach their full potential and achieve professional greatness. Conduct Accompanied Site Visits (ASVs) to elevate CRA performance and foster growth.
- Site Management:Cultivate and manage strategic site relationships to build unparalleled capability, drive productivity, and ensure robust quality management. Be the champion for site needs within IQVIA.
- Quality Assurance:Proactively identify and tackle quality risks and issues. Develop and implement innovative corrective action plans to ensure compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines.
- Customer Engagement:Represent IQVIA at customer meetings and maintain strong interactions with local sponsor affiliates. Ensure customer satisfaction and drive project profitability.
- Continuous Improvement:Lead the charge in continuously improving monitoring processes to deliver unmatched quality, consistency, and efficiency. Share key business drivers with CRA staff to inspire informed decision-making.
- Resource Management:Ensure your team has the essential materials, systems access, and training to excel in their roles. Oversee the execution of comprehensive training plans and mentoring programs.
- Performance Management:Plan, assign, and direct work; gather feedback for performance appraisals; guide professional development; and address employee relations issues with finesse.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in healthcare, scientific discipline, or equivalent.
- Experience:Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in clinical research.
- Skills:Mastery of GCP/ICH guidelines, exceptional management and communication skills, ability to lead and develop staff, strong project management and problem-solving prowess.
