Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and success-driven Medical Sales Team Leader to oversee our client’s medical sales team in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of medical and health products, and a proven track record in sales. This role involves setting sales targets, developing strategies, and mentoring team members to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of medical sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Achieve Sales Target as per business requirement and negotiate the order to meet demand.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth which will have a positive effect on the region and the company.
- Set individual and team sales targets and monitor progress.
Training & Development:
- Train and mentor team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Organize training sessions to enhance team skills.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and healthcare professionals.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in science preferably in a medical, paramedical, or FMCG-related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in medical sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical products and the healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Territory & Customer management skills.
- In-depth Product Knowledge.
- Business insight, including pricing strategies and margin evaluation.
